This weekend was supposed to be full of lounging by the pool, sipping margaritas, spending time with the boy and his family in San Diego...in general just enjoying one last weekend completely free before school starts.
Instead...I got a fever!! 101.8! Are you kidding me?! Not fun. It only lasted a day, but I stayed indoors both Saturday and Sunday, just so I would feel completely better for when school does start.
The boy was wonderful and bought me a Sponge Bob thermometer and brought me lots of juice.
I ended up spending my last weekend before school in the shade of the pool for a couple hours before the fever, then lounging inside reading a fun chick lit book, "Killer Summer". Not too bad, except a little "hotness".
***CORRECTION - The last sentence should read: The weekend was not too bad, except for a little "hotness". As in the fever, not the book.***
