I feel ok after the weekend of random sick, but still had a cough. I went to the doctor's yesterday after new teacher training at the school district and they said...walking pneumonia!! WOW!! I have meds for a week and then should be fine, but crazy!!
This week I started new teacher training and am loving it!! I've gone to two days of it and the "coaches" (veteran teachers) have so much insight and everything is so supportive and inspiring!! I can't wait to officially start the school year next week!!! Yay!!!

So happy that you are loving your first few days!!!! I love your positive attitude towards it and teaching is such a rewarding job as well!! We don't start for another two weeks, but I am looking forward to this year with a new attitude!! :)Cant wait to hear more about your training!

randomly stumbled into your blog. It's my second year teaching 4th grade, but I moved to a different district this year so I know how you feel about walking into an empty classroom! I'm sorry to hear you're sick. I'm just getting over bronchitis, which really put a damper on the whole relaxation-before-craziness thing!
