Weekend!

This weekend was so much fun!!

Friday was date night to Arclight's Dome Theater to see Transformers with the boy.

Saturday we went to brunch, then to The Standard to lounge by the pool.

Then off to a Cemetery Screening to watch "East of Eden" with friends.

And yesterday the boy and I went to Paradise Cove.

A wonderful summer weekend of fun!!

Locks of Love...

I have an appointment to cut my hair this Thursday. I've been growing my hair long to donate it to Locks of Love. I am finally ready and hopefully its long enough that I won't end up too short!! I'm thinking about these cuts as inspiration for my new cut...

I guess I'm liking the side-part with some layers and curled movement...we'll see what happens!!

My New 5th Grade Classroom!!

It looks like a complete disaster right now, but I'm so excited!! I went to the school today and picked-up all of my Teacher's Editions and copies of the paperbacks the students read throughout the year. Then I stopped by my classroom to take a look around. Here's what it looks like now...

weekend!

This weekend has been so relaxing already! Last night the boy came up and we went to dinner at a yummy Italian restaurant. Then we had a couple drinks at another yummy restaurant.

Today we're going to a baby shower of two of our friends who recently got married! Tonight I'm looking forward to going out with friends...who knows where the night will lead! :)

Tomorrow I hope its sunny and bright for a fun outdoors Father's Day!

I'll be back on Monday with lots of pictures and stories to tell I'm sure! :)

Love Necklace...

I purchased this love necklace at a little boutique in town. I love it! I just hope that it doesn't actually break, but yet my wish comes true. Do you think that's like a having cake and eating it too situation? :)

JOB!!!

I have officially graduated from my teaching credential program and...I got a job!! I was able to finish out the year as a long term sub for a 2nd grade class at my elementary school. The Monday after school let out for the summer I went in to the district office to interview. I was prepared to wait for 5-7 business days, but lucky me - I found out the next day I GOT THE JOB!!! I'm a real teacher!!

I cannot wait to speak with the principal and find out what grade I'll be teaching and I go in to officially sign all my papers on Mond

ay. It is such a relief to know that I have a job lined up for the fall...I can't wait!!

I've already started planning...organizing the mountains of books I inheirited from a retiring teacher too. Love it!! :)
