I'm here to share fabulous news!! I was hired for a 3rd grade teaching position!! I can't wait!! I've been so stressed out about this all summer, since I just wanted to get back in the classroom next year. And it happened! I know it's hard to wait and hope that things will happen, but they did :)
So...I went out shopping today with the intention of purchasing a few pieces for the school year. I did buy some things for teaching, but I also just found some great deals with all the end of summer sales and new fall item sales too.
From Forever 21 I purchased...
A black cardigan
A gray and navy blue stripe cardigan
A gold and tan stripe tank
This adorable bow ring
This great vintage beaded necklace, but I purchased in a great aqua color.
From Gap I purchased
These cute sandals on sale, but mine are a goldish rose color
These cardigans are on sale!! This deep purple color has gold stripes on the inside trim, which will look so great with the sleeves folded up.
T-shirts were $10!!! I bought one in gray and one in a deep heathered purple...
And this great red and white stripe top was on super clearance! I've been wanting one all summer, too cute!
And from Old Navy...
I bought these cute pink shorts (only $4!!!)
And this great button down (only $9!!!)
I also purchased a couple things from Ann Taylor Loft and Banana Republic :)
I told you it was a celebratory shopping spree!!

congratulations on the new teaching position! 3rd grade is such a good year, i'd like to move up and teach 3rd at some point in my teaching career too. :)
YAY! Congrats! 3rd grade is definitely my favorite by far... maybe we can share some tips and tricks throughout the year! :o)

Congratulations on the teaching job!! I found out in the past few days that I landed a one year position in a middle school - such a sigh of relief isn't it? I will also be doing some celebration shopping when I get my first pay check!
