Celebrate!

First of all, thank you all for the sweet wishes on a good first day of school.  It was a wonderful day!  The students were sweet, although a little chatty.  We had a lot of fun and I'm excited for the school year. 

And can you believe it...today's my birthday!!  Crazy at the start of the school year (last year my birthday was on the first day of school!)  I'm a little tired from planning and teaching, but also very excited for the birthday trip I have planned.  Even though I know I'll just end up more tired when I come back from...Las Vegas!  I can't wait to see the Beatles Love show.  I hear only amazing things.

I do promise to catch-up on all of your blogs one day.  I haven't read any since last weekend.  I also want to post a giveaway here, but again just a little busy :)  I know I'll have a little time next week, so fingers crossed, it'll be done then.

First Day of School!!

Tomorrow is the first day of school!! 

I'll be teaching 3rd grade.  The room is ready and lessons are planned.  Bring on the students :)

Confession Session

I confess...

1.  I will always procrastinate on homework.  No matter what!  If you give me until midnight to complete an assignment, that's when you'll get it.  Midnight.  If you want it earlier, then change that due date people!  And yes, I try to get my students not to do this, but hey, in my own grad school classes it happens.

2.  I'm a horrible blogger.  I'll go for days and days with multiple posts and then days of...nothing!  Zip!  Zilch!  Nada!  Sorry about that...I'll try to make an effort, but I am also starting back to school next week so, no promises, but I love all of my followers!!

3.  I have been horribly indecisive about a giveaway.  I have purchased three different items, but don't know if I love them enough for a giveaway.  And if I do, then will there be one winner or three?  Help!  What would you want to win?

4.  I have a shopping addiction.  I received 3 packages in the mail yesterday...oops!  But everything was so cute and such great sales.  :)
