Day 8: Least Favorite Thing About the Holidays

And don't forget to enter my giveaway here!
That should help lift the cheer for today's least favorites...

I love holiday movies!! Here are my favorites...
are you ready for some football!?!
My boyfriend and I are Chargers season ticket holders and last Monday we got to go to Monday Night Football!
It was so much fun...loved it! Here's the OOTD for the game...
H&M Jacket, Old Navy Tank & Top, Steve Madden Boots, C&C Jeggings, Chargers Beads
Here's me dancing the "foam fing-er, foam fing-er" dance after winning a bet.
And here I am with the foam finger win :)
It was a great game...we won!! My throat was so sore from screaming all night.
Who do you cheer for?

holiday garland & glittery wreath
I made this adorable little garland today. You can find the tutorial here.
I chose 4 different Christmas scrapbook papers all with purple colors.
And do you see the pink glittery tree topper? I picked that up today at Michael's.
Can you see the vase filled with pinecones? They're cinnamon scented...love it!
I think it's adorable! Could even be left up a little longer since it doesn't scream holiday decor.
And here is the glittery wreath I made too. This was sooo simple! I just picked up some glittery tinsel garland and a styrofoam wreath. I wrapped and wrapped, added a ribbon to hang it up, then done! All in all it took about 10 minutes.
What do you think?
What have you made for the holidays?

Day 4: Tips for a Bduget Friendly Holiday Season
It is hard to get through the holidays without breaking the bank. I think that doing fun things with friends helps with the pressure of giving gifts. Choosing a brunch spot and enjoying a holiday brunch is much more fun than stressing over gifts for each girlfriend.
Setting limits on gift giving helps too. With my boyfriend we set a spending limit, or we decide on going somewhere together as a present to ourselves. This helps too.

{Snowboarding Trip!}
And of course remembering that you need to spend for others during the holidays and avoid the temptation of holiday sales...easier said than done!!
Just remember the spirit of the holidays is to celebrate with friends and family, not to spend a fortune on them! :)
