Life is like...

Thank you to everyone for all the sweet wishes of luck and happy thoughts during my job search.  I had an initial interview, a lesson demo and a day of interviews.  All of that seemed to go well, although I haven't heard again for the final interview.  

So keep those fingers crossed!! :)  And even if this one opportunity doesn't work out, it's been an amazing experience for future teaching interviews.

Which leads me to this...I've been looking online for other types of jobs as well.  I've been searching and applying for all kinds of jobs, non-profit organizations, companies that assist children, related educational jobs, event planning.  I feel like I'm in a transition of sorts and  even those its stressful and can make me a little crazy at times, I am excited to find out where I'm going next...

Weekend...

Tonight we're going to see this movie, From Prada to Nada.  A friend of my boyfriend's worked on it, so we're going out to watch.  First we're going to a bbq.  Love that it's warm enough out here in SoCal to be outside and enjoying the sunshine!!

I'll admit I started reading it because I heard it was good, but when I saw the preview for the movie I had to read it!  Can't wait to see the movie...

Teacher Advice

I have a 2nd interview for a school!!  Yay!!  

And I will be teaching a lesson too...to a 2nd grade class.

I'm a Gossip Girl!

I know I'm probably one of the last girls in the blogging world to see Gossip Girl...but I have started watching and I'm hooked!!  I kept wanting to watch, but wanted to start from the beginning, so I finally got the first season on Netflix.  And I love it!  

I'm in love with the drama, the fashion, the boys ;)

Shopping Obsession

This Grecian Knit Tunic is from Forever 21.  I purchased it for an event, but now am wearing something else.  The question...should I keep it?  The "built-in" jewelry around the neckline is so un-me, but it is really cute.  Since it's a light weight cotton it's definitely a summery dress.  And i do have those beachy vacays planned for summer.  What do you think?  Will I wear it enough?

I've Got a Feelin...

1. I feel happy when...I get an e-mail saying I have blog comments!! :)

2. I feel silly when...I notice I was talking to myself, haha!

3. Something that makes me sad is...when I think of my students.  

4. Something that makes me annoyed is...when people don't listen!

5. A time I've been truly surprised is...by the Valentine's scrapbook my 5th graders made of the reasons they loved me.

6. I am so thankful for...bubble baths.  They are truly the best stress relief lately. 

7. I feel loved when...my boyfriend does those little things that mean you are truly loved.

Tonight I'm going to the Wellesbourne.  Look at the decor!!  I can't wait to give a full review and snap some pics in person.  

And now, on to the important stuff...What would you wear here?  I'm thinking maybe just keeping it simple with a blazer, but what do you think?
