I'm an advisor for the local chapter of my sorority, Kappa Delta.  And I have been loving it!!  The girls are all so sweet and great to work with.  And I'm loving KD because I'll be attending my own chapter's Shamrock event in a couple weekends.  Can't wait to catch-up with so many sisters!!  AOT

We're going snowboarding!!  There's a huge group of us going for a friend's birthday.  I can't wait...love the snow and vacations!!

I have another job possibility...a teacher's assistant in a 3rd grade classroom.  Hopefully this job will work out and lead to a full time position in the fall too!!

Support from my blogging friends!

I finally found out, after a month long interview process, that I was not hired for that teaching position.  They were very complimentary and even said they would keep me in mind for future positions.  I know that there is a job out there for me...I just need to find it!! :)  Thank you to all of my blogging friends for all of your comments and e-mails of good luck and good wishes.

My boyfriend!!

We had a great Valentine's Day weekend!!  

On Saturday night we had lots of friends over for our All You Need is Love Beatles Rockband cocktail party.  Somehow I managed to only get a picture of the food before the guests arrived, guess I was having too much fun!!  

On Sunday we went to Malibu winery and enjoyed some wine tasting and their live band.  It was gorgeous out, so sunny and beautiful!

Then on Valentine's we went to a yummy sushi dinner, watched When Harry Met Sally and enjoyed our time together, just celebrating love!!

I love those little candy hearts...  I think I like the messages more than the taste though!

4. Describe your best Valentine's Day.

My favorite Valentine's Day was when my boyfriend and I went to a Korean BBQ restaurant. He made the reservations late, so we weren't eating until about 9pm.  And it was a place where you cook your own food on the BBQ on the table.  It was just a fun and silly night. 

5. What has been the most romantic night of your life?

Now I realize that we wrote these questions, but this one is hard!! :)  
I'd have to say that it was a night of surprises by my boyfriend, he cooked dinner, put candles everywhere, and brought me flowers.  It was just a sweet and simple night we spent together.  I think that the little things we do together are the best...

6. What's your go to date night outfit?

I love casual cute.  I'd wear skinny jeans, a cute top, flats and curl the hair.  As long as I'm feeling good, then I know I'll have a great night.  Nothing to worry about 

7. Where is your favorite place to go on a date?

I love to try new restaurants.  I'd have to say somewhere new and interesting is lots of fun. We recently went to this restaurant...so romantic and fun!!

8. Store bought Valentine's or homemade?

I love handmade.  But if you must go store bought, then at least a very sweet personal message should be included.

9. What is your favorite love song?

One of my favorite love songs is Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars.  It makes me think of when my boyfriend and I started dating...

{Girls Night In}

 Grab your favorite girlfriends, some romantic comedies, or even some scary movies, lots of junk food and drinks and have a blast!! I did this one year in college and it was just so much fun. Didn't matter that we weren't out in our red dresses on dates, we were still sharing the love

{Cocktail Party}

I'm hosted an "All You Need is Love" cocktail party this year. We'll had yummy pink drinks, wore our sequins, because let's be honest, one night of sequins on New Year's Eve wasn't enough, and played Beatles Rock Band!! I'll post a recap this week!

{Valentine's Cards}

Send some love to friends and family this year! Get crafty and make some of your own. I love pulling out all of the glitter, red and pink paper and doilies to make those every year. Don't forget to include the candy hearts. Always my favorite when I was a kid.

{Bake Yummy Treats}

I love to bake!! There are so many great cooking blogs that have yummy cookie recipes to try. Just don't forget to share, that will help in keeping the resolutions too :)
