Science Week - Favorite Science Books
It's science week!!

Here are my favorite books to teach science...
I love these because my students have always loved the "real" stories they include. They are great resources to connect the textbook to "real life". Great for text on the student's grade level too.
I think picture books are great to give students access to science curriculum at their own level, just so it makes sense.

Teacher Tuesday - ELA Goodies
Everyday at work I find out I have new job responsibilities. It's exciting to be teaching so many different grades and groups of students, but it can be a little overwhelming as it first begins.

Teacher Tuesday - My Classroom
I've been setting up my classroom!! I actually share the space with another reading teacher who is part time. There is a 3rd teacher still needing to be hired... I am the full time reading teacher and I coordinate the three of us with our groups. We teach K-3 and I can't wait to get all of the initial assessments completed so we can start working with the students!!
Here are some pictures of my classroom. These are from when I first walked in to now, although there are a lot of things that still need to be added, I'm so happy with the progress I've made!!
